#32 Elysium

Dystopia, beautiful space shots, bio-mechanical dudes, what’s not to love ?

# 31 Invictus

Focus on the not so perfect side of Mandela, interesting.

Because Lois Lane is the female lead of the Superman mythos and the most important person in the myth outside of Superman himself. That's why. The film was flawed in the second half. Too much needless action. She was important and deserved to be there. If you think otherwise, you're wrong.

I agree with you when you say that Lois Lane is an important character but my question was rethorical…
I was more interested in the making of the super hero in the first part, Lois Lane being a “Deus ex Machina” more than anything else in the second half.

#26 The Purge

In 2022, the American government had instituted an annual 12-hour period called “the Purge” during which all criminal activity becomes legal (no police, no ambulance intervention) to eradicate crime the rest of the year. An interesting idea but underexploited… Instead of giving a smart social commentary (the purge mostly target the poor, the nobodies…), the film follows the night of a rich family confined in their home, soon under siege by a bunch of preppies hunting down the homeless guy who took shelter in the house. I heard there’s gonna be a sequel, i hope it will be better
